Lebron James doesnt want a Legacy he just wants a ring
I'm trying to figure out why everyone is so pissed with Lebron James decision to leave Cleveland and try to create a super team in Miami. Would you stay on a team where YOUR teammate flirted and sleep with your MOM? Could you stay on a team that overachieves during the regular season and underachieves in the playoffs? Could you deal with the pressure of becoming the greatest basketball player ever?! Could you be the Chosen one? If you watched Lebron his whole career you'd see a young man who has always had all the pressure in the world on his shoulders. Sure most people thought if Lebron truly wanted to win Championships and start his legacy as the heir to Jordan's Throne his best bet would be to stay with the Cavs or join the bulls, but maybe just maybe he didn't want to be the man, maybe he wanted to play a Scottie Pippen type role to someone and Dwade was the best fit for that job and there is nothing wrong with that. The only thing LBJ has done is take his name out of the conversation when we talk about great players in the league history. I'm pretty sure we can no longer mention him in the same conversation with Kobe or even his now teammate Dwayne Wade. Mostly because he couldn't get his team to the promise land by himself, and from the stand point he kind of gave up but hey that was his decision I just think he has permanently tarnished his Legacy. There's nothing wrong with being compared to Pippen, I mean Pippen is one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history, he has won gold medals, been to all star games, and oh yeah he does have 6 rings. Its nothing wrong with being Scottie Pippen or playing like him. I remember watching Lebron play against the Pistons in the ECF and I watched him score 25 points in a row in the fourth quarter and i was amazed! It seemed like then that he was on a Micheal Jordan level I mean he really demolished that team en route to leading his team to his first and only trip the the NBA finals. But since then King James or rather the player formerly know as King James has really under achieved since then. The year after they went to the finals they lost to the Boston Celtics and the first big 3, then the year after that they got whipped by the Orlando Magic and this year they lost again to the Boston Celtics. Thru all of this one question remains How many times in his 7 year career did we see him take over a game? How many buzzer beating jump shots did we see him hit??? Sure we've seen him beat the wizards in the playoffs with a layup at the buzzer, but why was it a rarity to see him hit a jumper to win the game. I know he hit a jumper to beat the buzzer and the magic in a playoff game two years ago but if you see his reaction after the shot HE didn't even think it was going in. So how could he come to the bulls where he would have to live up to the greatest basketball player of all time? Lebron isn't thinking about legacy right now he just wants to win rings and I don't have a problem with that and if you are a basketball fan you shouldn't either. Blame the MEDIA they are the ones who over hype these young men, make all these lofty expectations for them, and when they can't live up to them they bash them. Whatever the case the NBA landscape has changed dramatically whether it was Collusion or not that remains to be seen

There is no way Gar & PAxson can mess this up! Right??
NBA players of Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Joe Johnson, Amare Stoudemire, Carlos Boozer, Dirk Nowitzki, and Dwayne Wade's caliber will never be available at the same time again. EVER! Which is why it makes perfect sense for Chicago, New York and Miami to go all in. These 3 teams are freeing up cap space left and right in other to land one of these free agents and with the Knicks and Heat only having 2 or 3 players under contract at this time! They are letting everyone know that they intended to do what ever is possible to lure them to their city. Even if a team doesn't have get a chance to land the grand prize in this free agent Lebron James you could always find a way to get Bosh or Wade or Joe Johnson. One thing that is for sure is that the Bulls are committed to winning right now at any cost. They traded away a fan favorite in Kirk Hinrich just to prove that they are ready to usher in a new era. One problem with this fire sale is longtime bulls fans remember the 2000 off season when we banked on trying to secure Tracy Mcgrady, Grant Hill, and Tim Duncan. While we never really had a chance with Duncan. T-Mac flirted with the Bulls and seemed like he was really interested in coming to Chicago but it was apparently just for show cause he and Grant Hill Signed with the Orlando Magic and the Bulls ended up with RON MERCER.(I STILL FREAK OUT EVERY TIME I THINK ABOUT THAT!) We can Thank Jerry Krause for that now lets all of us forget that Mercer and Krause were here and get back to business. There aren't a lot of similarities with the 1999 bulls team and this current one. The only one being that we had a Rookie of the year a fairly decent roster; However this Bulls teams has been to the playoffs 2 years in a row, they have An All Star in Derrick Rose who is only 21years, a Athletic big man in Joakim Noah who is only 25. They have Loul Deng who has proven to be a great player if the mood strikes him. Taj Gibson who probably was the surprise of the 2009 NBA draft. The time is right for them to go all in. How many times will there ever be a two time NBA MVP who is only 25 years old and who has been to the Playoffs 5 times in his short NBA career. Who is mature way beyond his age and who is arguably the best player in the NBA. Or a Big man who is versatile as Chris Bosh, or an All-Star in Joe Johnson who doesn't mind playing second fiddle to an up and coming superstar in Derrick Rose. Add Carlos Boozer, Amare Stoudemire, Ray Allen and Dirk (HAS ANYONE EVER THOUGHT OF DIRK AND LEBRON WITH THE BULLS?) and their is no way the Paxson could mess this free agent class up if they wanted to. I know most people (including me) want Bosh here but with the Bulls being so close to signing James and with him showing interest in them also don't you have to go all in? One thing for sure is that the Bulls are going to get somebody and their are going to improve the team It's just a toss up to who their going to get. I mean what's the worst that can happen other than the bulls ending up with Rudy Gay, David Lee and Nate Robinson?

The John Wall Shoe Deal

Lebron James has Nike, Derrick Rose has Adidas, Chris Paul & Carmelo Anthony have Jumpman & John Wall has....... Reebok??? I know I had to take a pause & look at that again. The Potential #1 pick in the upcoming NBA draft & the Most Hyped player to enter the NBA since King James will sign with the least recognizable Basketball Shoe company in the NBA but there is one upside, his contract. It's being reported by yahoo that his Reebok deal is worth $25 million over five years Yep, 5 Million Dollars a year. While that is far from the more than 90 million dollar contract that Lebron James signed when his was 18. (Including a 1 million dollar signing bonus) It's still a huge chunk of change. When rose signed his contract with Adidas financial details were never released but it's safe to say that he didn't see any where near the amount the wall is seeing. One thing that is surprising is that John Wall is Under LRMR which is the marketing firm that is owned by one Lebron James. One would think that James would be able to get a deal from Nike that would pay him at least 2-3 million dollars a year, but i guess an agency should try to find the best deal for its client and that's what LRMR did. Wall is expected to get a signature shoe from Reebok and (as long as it doesn't look like these pictured above) they should sell well & Reebok seems to thinks that Wall could be the next Allen Iverson (minus the Strippers, Gambling & Hennesy Addiction) for them. Hopefully this Deal turns out better for Wall than Dwayne Wade decision to sign a shoe deal with converse (Remember that)when he came into the league and a couple of years down the line wade had an epiphany and figured out that he didn't like the shoes they were creating & also the company and last year he ended up signing to Michael Jordan's Jumpman brand. We can only speculate what company Wall will end up with 5 years down the line with but for now and more importantly for him MONEY TALKS!!!!

Dwayne Wade Bulls Hater!

Dwayne Wade made headlines a couple of days ago when he said that "The Chicago Bulls organization is not loyal to its players". Really Dwade really your gonna try to go there. I cant believe your that desperate. First Dwayne has no inside knowledge of the Bulls organization other than watching MJ & PIPPEN ON TV LIKE I DID. We all know what you're doing your trying to make sure KING JAMES, CHRIS BOSH, & JOE JOHNSON don't think about coming to Chicago and you should be fined by The NBA because to me your Comments were worst than Mark Cuban's Comments because you tried to paint the Bulls organization as a horrible one in order to lure free agents away from Chicago and steer them towards Miami. What's next? Are you gonna say that Chicago Bulls fans are the worst in the NBA? We all know that situation that your in wade a former FINALS MVP on a struggling team thinking about what could of been. You see Quentin Richardson & you panic, you see Michael Beasley and you freak out but you shouldn't try to throw the city of Chicago under the bus. You look over here and you see the young nucleus of the bulls and you see your window and your opportunity to return to the finals dwindling. Your team can't beat the Celtics, your horrible against the Magic, & you get run out of the gym by the Hawks. I can understand why you wouldn't want the Bulls to get better your team struggles enough trying to guard Derrick Rose, No one on you team has half the heart that Joakim Noah has you cant let them get Chris Bosh or Lebron James it would really be over for you. More importantly your in a division with the Magic, the Hawks & the upstart Bobcats so you know your one bad season away from finishing 3rd in your division and maybe even in danger of missing the playoffs so you panicked and made an off the wall comment about the Bulls organization. Now let's go back to your statement how aren't the bulls loyal to their players? Last time I checked John Paxson is The VP of basketball operations for the Bulls before that he was a Radio analyst for the Bulls before that he was an asst coach for who THE BULLS. Stacy King does color commentary for every bulls game before that he was just a studio analyst for Comcast. Bill Wennington is the Radio Analyst for the Bulls. Hell the Bulls even gave Randy Brown a job after he lost all his money and had to sell his championship rings on ebay! Add Pete Myers & BJ Armstrong to the list hell even add Scottie Pippen! The Bulls brought him back at the end of his career and gave him like 10 million and he didn't even do anything when he came back. You should have just said Michael Jordan because we all know that's who that's you were hinting at. Now your on TV saying all the free agents will meet up to discuss their future & I wonder what your gonna talk about? Are you just gonna come out and just beg them not to join the Bulls & to join you in Miami tell them how you desperately need help and you and one of them could win multiple rings. (Not with that roster they wont & they know that already) STOP BEGGING FOR HELP ITS SICKENING. Besides I'm pretty sure these free agents have an idea on where they wanna go you know just like you know they do. Fact is your probably gonna sign Amare he lives there in the off season he's from Florida so be happy that anyone wants to come to that underachieving team. Plus we all know that Siohvaughn is the real reason YOU don't want to sign with the Bulls in the first place!

24/23

Michael Jordan's Two Heirs to his NBA throne Kobe Bryant and Lebron James have battle for the NBA spotlight since he MJ left the NBA. (for good) they both have dazzled us with 50 point games, amazing dunks, and buzzer beaters but the questioned still remained who is the best player in the league? Seven years after King James entered the League Kobe is still showing people that he is still the man especially when it comes to the postseason. Lebron has the speed, size, and courts vision that the NBA has never seen before he treats the Regular season like he still playing high school ball. he bullies his way through the lane and will abuse anyone who dares to jump with him (ask James Johnson) and his Jump shot has come a long way since he came into the league. The Problem with him has been his teams ability to not put the players around him (something Kobe went though too) so that they can win in the postseason we all know the stats since they went to the NBA Finals 4 years ago they have two 2nd round exits & 1 shocking lose to Orlando Magic in last years Conference Finals. But even Michael Jordan had to deal with the Bad Boys & Kobe had a tough time with the Phoenix suns a couple of seasons ago. But it seems where Lebron fails at (Meaning the postseason) Kobe seems to excel he has treated the last 2 postseasons (both Finals appearances) with amazing perfomances concisitanly proving that he is still the best of the bes.t Not only does his still posses that killer instinct. (that thing King James seems to be lacking right now) he seems practically unguardable in the playoffs (Just ask Utah and Phoenix) making one unbelievable shot after another and sharing the basketball with his teammates (something he failed to do on a consistent basis a couple of seasons ago) that has led to winning championships. But then there's this the Lakers have been beaten by the Cavs in 7 of their last 9 matchups and of their 13 career games Lebron has out scored Bryant in 8 of those games, However Kobe those has the edge in championships 4-0. Maybe one day we can see Kobe & Lebron battle in the NBA finals that way we can finally answer the Question Who is better 24 or 23? and they better hurry cause Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant & Deron Williams GOT NEXT

Why we need Bosh

It makes more sense for the bulls to go after Chris Bosh rather than Lebron James but with all the Bron Bron rumors out there all bulls fans are imagining (including me) how great the bulls would be with Lebron but they might be even better with Bosh. 1st reason with Noah & Bosh the bulls would have the fastest 4 & 5 who could both push the ball from end to end imagine the fastbreaks points a game they should get. 2nd Bosh is better in the pick and roll than Noah and he has great hands which allows him to cath the ball in traffic and he is better in the pick and pop than brad miller and with that rose can see his Assist numbers go up by at least 3 a game. 3rd Bosh is a double double machine and so is Noah & with the both of them the bulls should lead the NBA in rebounds for the next 3-5 years. finally the bulls havent had a presence in the post since eddy curry (wow i know) and they take way to many jumpshots a game and ususally the only person going to the basket is D rose having bosh in the post would give them the option of throwing the ball in the post and letting him go to work. This will pobably go down as the best Free agent class in sports history and it is important for the bulls to make the right choice but with all that said Lebron James is Still Lebron James
