There is no way Gar & PAxson can mess this up! Right??

NBA players of Lebron James, Chris Bosh, Joe Johnson, Amare Stoudemire, Carlos Boozer, Dirk Nowitzki, and Dwayne Wade's caliber will never be available at the same time again. EVER! Which is why it makes perfect sense for Chicago, New York and Miami to go all in. These 3 teams are freeing up cap space left and right in other to land one of these free agents and with the Knicks and Heat only having 2 or 3 players under contract at this time! They are letting everyone know that they intended to do what ever is possible to lure them to their city. Even if a team doesn't have get a chance to land the grand prize in this free agent Lebron James you could always find a way to get Bosh or Wade or Joe Johnson. One thing that is for sure is that the Bulls are committed to winning right now at any cost. They traded away a fan favorite in Kirk Hinrich just to prove that they are ready to usher in a new era. One problem with this fire sale is longtime bulls fans remember the 2000 off season when we banked on trying to secure Tracy Mcgrady, Grant Hill, and Tim Duncan. While we never really had a chance with Duncan. T-Mac flirted with the Bulls and seemed like he was really interested in coming to Chicago but it was apparently just for show cause he and Grant Hill Signed with the Orlando Magic and the Bulls ended up with RON MERCER.(I STILL FREAK OUT EVERY TIME I THINK ABOUT THAT!) We can Thank Jerry Krause for that now lets all of us forget that Mercer and Krause were here and get back to business. There aren't a lot of similarities with the 1999 bulls team and this current one. The only one being that we had  a Rookie of the year a fairly decent roster; However this Bulls teams has been to the playoffs 2 years in a row, they have An All Star in Derrick Rose who is only 21years, a Athletic big man in Joakim Noah who is only 25. They have Loul Deng who has proven to be a great player if the mood strikes him. Taj Gibson who probably was the surprise of the 2009 NBA draft. The time is right for them to go all in. How many times will there ever be a two time NBA MVP who is only 25 years old  and who has been to the Playoffs 5 times in his short NBA career. Who is mature way beyond his age and who is arguably the best player in the NBA. Or a Big man who is versatile as Chris Bosh, or an All-Star in Joe Johnson who doesn't mind playing second fiddle to an up and coming superstar in Derrick Rose. Add Carlos Boozer, Amare Stoudemire, Ray Allen and Dirk (HAS ANYONE EVER THOUGHT OF DIRK AND LEBRON WITH THE BULLS?) and their is no way the Paxson could mess this free agent class up if they wanted to. I know most people (including me) want Bosh here but with the Bulls being so close to signing  James and with him showing interest in them also don't you have to go all in? One thing for sure is that the Bulls are going to get somebody and their are going to improve the team It's just a toss up to who their going to get. I mean what's the worst that can happen other than the bulls ending up with Rudy Gay, David Lee and Nate Robinson?

The John Wall Shoe Deal

Lebron James has Nike, Derrick Rose has Adidas, Chris Paul & Carmelo Anthony have Jumpman & John Wall has....... Reebok??? I know I had to take a pause & look at that again. The Potential #1 pick in the upcoming NBA draft & the Most Hyped player to enter the NBA since King James will sign with the least recognizable Basketball Shoe company in the NBA but there is one upside, his contract. It's being reported by yahoo that his Reebok deal is worth $25 million over five years Yep, 5 Million Dollars a year. While that is far from the more than 90 million dollar contract that Lebron James signed when his was 18. (Including a 1 million dollar signing bonus) It's still a huge chunk of change. When rose signed his contract with Adidas financial details were never released but it's safe to say that he didn't see any where near the amount the wall is seeing. One thing that is surprising is that John Wall is Under LRMR which is the marketing firm that is owned by one Lebron James. One would think that James would be able to get a deal from Nike that would pay him at least 2-3 million dollars a year, but i guess an agency should try to find the best deal for its client and that's what LRMR did. Wall is expected to get a signature shoe from Reebok and (as long as it doesn't look like these pictured above) they should sell well & Reebok seems to thinks that Wall could be the next Allen Iverson (minus the Strippers, Gambling & Hennesy Addiction) for them. Hopefully this Deal turns out better for Wall than Dwayne Wade decision to sign a shoe deal with converse (Remember that)when he came into the league and a couple of years down the line wade had an epiphany and figured out that he didn't like the shoes they were creating & also the company and last year he ended up signing to Michael Jordan's Jumpman brand. We can only speculate what company Wall will end up with 5 years down the line with but for now and more importantly for him MONEY TALKS!!!!
